About

Detail-minded and hands-on with the tech.

I've spent the last 10 years in media localisation, getting video ready for international audiences: producing subtitle files (SRT, VTT) in multiple languages to language-specific guidelines, amending graphics and animations in Premiere Pro and After Effects to handle text expansion, and more recently writing Python scripts to automate parts of the workflow.

The part of the job I've always liked most is the careful, detail-heavy work: watching something through, catching the error nobody else noticed, reproducing it, and writing it up so it actually gets fixed.

I studied Music Technology and still write and record. A solo metal project, and the odd game cover.
